Set limits before you start

A calculator can show a number; it cannot decide whether that amount is suitable for you. GHS examples on this site are for arithmetic only and are not suggested stakes.

  • Use only money you can afford to lose after essentials are covered.
  • Set a time limit and a spending limit before visiting a betting site.
  • Do not borrow, chase losses or raise a limit after losing.
  • Take breaks and pause if betting is affecting work, study, relationships or wellbeing.
  • Do not bet when distressed or under the influence.

Recognize warning signs

Hiding gambling, breaking personal limits, borrowing to continue, or feeling unable to stop are reasons to pause and seek support. You do not need to wait for a crisis before taking a break.

If an operator offers account limits, time-outs or self-exclusion, read the current rules and use those controls if helpful. BetMath GH cannot submit an exclusion request or access an operator account.

Use official Ghana information

The Gaming Commission of Ghana publishes information about licensed operators and responsible gaming. Its public materials describe tools such as limits and self-exclusion; check the Commission and operator sites directly for current procedures.

The Gaming Act, 2006 (Act 721) is available through the Commission website. Regulatory guidance and operator terms can change, so confirm the current text before relying on it.

If you need help

BetMath GH is an educational site, not a counselling or emergency service. Speak with someone you trust and seek local professional help if gambling is affecting your safety, finances or wellbeing. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
